Breastfeeding course
There are so many options to learn about breastfeeding before your baby comes… but what about once your baby is here?
Are you feeling uncertain, unsure or do you have questions around what’s normal and how breastfeeding is going or what to do now that baby is here?
Do you find that you think you have worked one thing out when it comes to knowing how to feed your baby and then something changes which throws you and has you googling in the middle of the night
Does this sound familiar?
Then look no further- this course is for you! You will get facts and expert answers to the most common questions that come up as you embark on the first months of breastfeeding: beyond getting started.
“Your course was really reassuring and helpful, as we are currently at the 17 week mark and are having the frequent night waking/distracted feeds etc. I think I needed to hear it was normal and I wasn’t going mad!”
I am in a unique position
as a lactation consultant and also as a mother who had two long, different and at times challenging breastfeeding journeys. I am perfectly placed to provide you with the answers to those niggling questions, to share my specialist insight on those concerns or doubts you may have and to provide you with practical tools and strategies for a variety of breastfeeding or breastfeeding related challenges.
As a newly breastfeeding mother I was quite surprised to find that I wasn’t at all prepared to know what to expect with breastfeeding past those first few days that they teach on your antenatal course. Since building a lively and engaged social media community, I have discovered that I am not alone here. Hundreds of mothers ask me questions regularly on reoccurring topics as they progress on their breastfeeding journey.
I have 20 years of experience, supporting thousands of families to feed their babies and children and I am committed to getting good quality, evidence-based breastfeeding information out there. You can be sure that this course has been put together with the dedication and passion that I bring to my families and work daily.
“Thank you to you and your breastfeeding course. I ‘failed’ with my first baby and have not quite gotten over ‘giving up’ with him. So when I found out I was pregnant with number 2 I was determined to arm myself with as much information as possible to breastfeed successfully. Your course was everything I needed a first time round, but didn’t know! I’m now 10 months in and still EBF baby number 2 and it wouldn’t have been possible without your course and your page. So thank you so much. I’ll always be grateful!”
What is on the course?
There is no other course like this. This course is aimed for you to work through once your baby is here and you are figuring out breastfeeding. You can go at your own pace and dip in and out of modules as your baby grows and your journey moves on.

The basics of breastfeeding in the early days
The facts and truths about common feeding related concerns /myths
What is normal when it comes to infant feeding and behaviour
Managing sleep and routines
What changes to expect with regards breastfeeding as your baby grows and develops
Tips for overcoming specific breastfeeding challenges
About the changes that may occur as your baby gets older and how to manage these
“I found your course so helpful and really reassuring. I definitely needed to improve my latch and after going back to basics and using your advice, we have had three great feeds (and a very yellow poo) I also feel much more confident that when things change and there are less “good feeds” that its normal and that me and my baby are not broken! I was falling into the trap of clock watching rather than being responsive to her signals… that’s changing! I’d definitely recommend your support to any new breastfeeding mums. Thank you again.”

“The course was so informative and answered so many questions that I have about breastfeeding in a way that is so easy to understand! I am pregnant with my first baby and so know very little about how breastfeeding will go for us, but this has answered so many of my ‘what if’ questions and has given me the confidence to problem solve whatever might crop up for me and baby. It was a great combination of facts and practical ideas.”
